Female Future mobilises talents into leadership positions (04.04.2013)

Since the quota legislation was passed in 2003 to secure gender balance in boardrooms, Norway has achieved one of the highest levels of female board participation in the world. The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise's (NHO) program Female Future has since it was founded in 2003 mobilised a large number of female talents into board memberships and leadership positions. OECD report on gender equality (11.03.2013)

A report from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, which has examined gender equality in 34 countries, shows that Norway has the highest percentage of female board members. The overall percentage of women in boards in the OECD countries is 16%, whereas Norway has a share of 40%. Read more at Forbes

Parental leave on Iceland (20.02.2013)
